About Us

Gransha Riding Club is affiliated to British Riding Clubs and started in 1998, to encourage novice riders to compete, learn and have fun.

We aim to promote good horsemanship and encourage members to take the BHS Riding and Stable Management Exams and the BHS Riding and Road Safety Test . Members are encouraged to compete at Interclub competitions and the N.I. Riding Club Championships and to achieve this the Club offers members at all levels excellent training sessions with a variety of instructors each year.  At Club level we run our Dressage and Show Jumping leagues throughout the year with the prizewinners receiving their trophies at the annual prizegiving along with the presentation of the Overall Champion and Endeavour Cups.  We also run a variety of fun nights and weekend events.

We meet on Wednesday nights at Gransha Equestrian Centre where we have use of the excellent facilities with the Indoor School, warm up arena and the all weather arena for outdoor events.  We also have many talks and demos throughout the year from various equestrian professionals from vetinerary surgeons to Equine Nutritionists.

Remember this is your Club and we want you to have fun and enjoy it
